PCM Perak outing to Teluk Senangin 24/12/11

PCM Perak will be organising a survival Getaway 3d 2n to Teluk Senangin at Damai Laut Lumut. The conclution of the decision was made at a TT Session today 19/12/11 held at Clearwater Golf Resort.

On the spot 7 lions had confirmed and waiting for you to join the survival fun. As you can see on the map below its a bit remote and you may prefer to jump into the sea rather than travel back all the ways for a packet of cigarette if you forgot to bring extra.. however its a nice beach to enjoy with your family.

PCM Go Kart Challenge 2011

Subang Jaya - Last Saturday our Lions held a Go Kart Challenge at the Elite Speedway Plus Circuit. The morning was bright and sunny, just a perfect day to race. Event invites can be found here.

We had 14 awesome racers that milk their sweats out to win the top 3 title and of course having FUN is always important!

All 14 were split into 2 teams for practice and then there was the qualifying rounds. Top 7 best times in qualifying round,were separated with the rest for Race 1 (Top 7) and Race 2.

Most unforgettable moment during the race was our dear Andrew has a couple of breakdowns, his shoe even tore-out and had to use sandals to race. Haha.. But not to worry.... he won himself a 2nd place!

Race 1 results that won themselves a trophy for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing.

Peugeot have released an official 3 minute long video featuring the Peugeot 208 design team explaining how they shaped the bodywork of the newborn B-segment car.
The 208 represents a significant step forward for the French carmaker, those in the know saying that it represents a huge improvement over the model it is going to replace, the 207.

This is very ambitious car for Peugeot, one in which it has very high hopes of being a runaway succes. It’s smaller and yet more roomy than its predecessor, it is over 110 kg lighter and boasts a more modern design packed with features and details that would make it a small-size premium model: LED technology for head and tail lights, a funky infotainment system and chrome finishing for instance. ....

PCM JB Bersantai (Hangouts) 26/11/11

Members of PCM JB having their fun hangout at Danga Bay with the present of two modified D8 406 for them to test, feel the power, see the modification and talk about the spec and modification processes.

One of the D8 406 was transplanted with D9 2.0 liter engine which is about 10hp more than original XU10j4r. The other D8 406 was transplanted with V6 3.0 liter engine with 190hp which is just like the spec of 406 in Taxi movie.

PCM Go-Kart Challenge 2011

Peugeot Club Malaysia (PCM) will be organizing a Go-Kart Challenge event on 10th December 2011 (Saturday). We're looking for a minimum of 20 participants for the event, and up to a maximum of 40 participants, with 10 participants in a group. The challenge event will be held like F1 race, with Practice, Qualifying and Finals; which means, each participants will get to enjoy 3 rounds. There will be also prizes for the top 3 winners. All participants will also get ONE free Peugeot Sport Road Tax sticker.

PCM Johor remains as one of the most active club with its sustainable activities throughout the years. Although posting activities on facebook wall could be sufficient and entertaining but coming to the TT and chatting around the table is rather more fun and enjoyable.

PCM "Raya" TT on 24th September 2011 (Saturday)

A Teh Tarik (TT) Session for "Raya" was held at Gastro Cafe, Subang Jaya SS15 on 24th September 2011 (Saturday), 8:30pm. PCM Committes arrived earlier to have some meeting and discussion on pending issues. Some of the discussion includes new PCM Polo T, PCM Umbrella, Family Day event, Go Kart event.

New PCM Card and new PCM Stickers were distributed during that day. PCM Official Receipt were also being issued for members registration as well as PCM "Rally" Shirt, which will be available very soon. PCM Treasurer is already wearing one, which you can see from below pictures.

PCM Klang Valley TT on 25th June 2011 (Saturday)

A Teh Tarik (TT) Session was held at Old Town White Coffe, Bandar Kinrara on 25th June 2011 (Saturday), 8:30pm. We also celebrated the Birthday of PCM's Secretary, Nurul Farahanna; where the Vice President himself, personally bought the Cake.

The TT is planned for a grand TT, to gather as many members (of different Peugeot models) as possible; It's for a good kick-start of the Club new changes, such as, new refresh Club logo, new member card, new "Rally" Shirt (replacing the old F1 Shirt); Can I call it Rally instead of F1? =P

(Since Peugeot are involved in "Rally" than F1)

Oh yes, forgot to mention; Another special event for this is, the preview/demo and also testing on vinnie's 206 1.6L (transplant - previously 1.4L); The half-cut was a high spec unit, with digital air-cond, wide fenders (same like GTi or CC (Coupe Cabriolet)).

Gathered up at NKVE Dengkil R&R and head straight to the Army Museum Car Park for a visit while waiting for Malacca members to arrive. Continued the journey to Bagan Lalang and finished at of course - Port Dickson.

12/03/11 - Selamat Pengantin Baru Anuar (PCM JB)

A Wedding Day for PCM member Anuar bin Ahmad at his kampung at Muar Johor.

Some of the members from JB and KV attended the wedding on Saturday 12/03/11 in conjunction with the school holidays they extended their trip to Johor Baru.

During the trip to Johor Baru, they took the opportunity to call for a small TT session with JB members. After the TT they continue to walkabout at Pandan Uptown until 2.30am.

Their visits continued to the next day where they visited a club member workshop (Belongs to Mr Sri) at Tmn Bukut Mewah, Tampoi Johor Baru.

TT with JB members..

22/01/11 - TT at Puchong near Nasim Showroom

Back to Klang Valley, a TT was called and held at Pelita Nasi Kandar Restaurant just next to Nasim Showroom Puchong at 8.30pm today.

It was great to see a few new members (Hisham, Fariz, Hakimi) and long disappearing members came back (PeugeotC) as well as members came all the way from Negeri Sembilan (Stenly, Zaki, Rafizal).

The traffic were horrible during accessing the restaurant area and most of the surrounding parking were fully occupied. Luckily some of the early-birds members volunteered became part time jokey to block the vacant parking space for the members.

Matdee was taking effort to mark the attendance and they were Rosdi, Sazwan & Farahana, Lawrence & mrs, Gmoux, Megat206, Zaki, Rafizal, Hisham & partner, Stenly, fariz, UncleD, Hakimi, PeugeotC, Timmy, Justin, Jacksparrow, Tnash & partner, BlackDolphin and Abangk.

The fun, chat and discussion on the proposed trip to Naza assembly plant continues until mid night. The most suitable conclusion for the trip as per the long discussion was to flag-off on Sunday 1st May heading direct to Hot-springs Resort at Baling for a night and visit Naza assembly plant on Monday and back on the same day. However its pending Nasim confirmation on this proposal.

The next event would be the 4th AGM tentatively to be held on 26/03/11 just before the trip to Gurun.

08/01/11 - TT Session at Danga Bay Johor

PCM Johor initiating the year 2011 with a TT Session at the popular spot of Danga Bay. The TT was called by Mr Prasad the Chairman of PCM Johor with the help of Ab Rahman and the committee.

The TT was begun at 8.30pm where they first gathered at the open car park area that facing the Strait of Teberau.

While welcoming and waiting for the members to come, Matdee who is now staying at Shah Alam taking his effort to travel all the way to JB to give his moral support. As usual he and his ideas arranging all the cars for the best photo views and his jokes to make the TT happenings.

Congratulation to PCM JB and continue to grow up the community and enjoy together with your Peugeot. With the community, Peugeot is more than just a car.

06/01/11 - Launching Ceremony of Peugeot 308CC

Peugeot Coupe Cabriolet (CC) was first launched with a 1998 concept, then with the production 206 CC two years later, followed by versions of the 307CC and 207CC.

Today Nasim launching the Peugeot 308CC with a tagged price of RM186,000.

308CC has a two-plus-two seat configuration with a retractable metal roof, which according to Peugeot, unfolds out of sight within 20 seconds. The roof can also be operated at up to speeds of 7mph. The shape of the retractable roof allows the vehicle to be a classy coupe with the roof up or an elegant cabriolet with the roof stowed away.
